This Data Retention Policy explains how Survtapp stores, retains, and deletes your data. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Data Retention
Information is maintained while accounts remain active or as needed to deliver services. Survtapp retains and uses data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Personal information is not retained for longer than one month after account termination, unless required by law.
Survey & Form Data
Survey administrators exclusively own information shared during survey creation. We are committed to never sharing uploaded information with third parties. Survey data belongs solely to administrators and requires login credentials for access by default.
Account Deletion
When you delete data or cancel your account:
- Data is immediately removed from our primary databases.
- Weekly backups are retained for 7 days, then permanently and irreversibly deleted.
- Backups are maintained solely for Survtapp's internal disaster recovery purposes and are not accessible to users.
Sale of Data
We do not sell information to data brokers or share personally identifiable information with external parties for commercial purposes. We will never use any of the data collected for unauthorised purposes.
Communication Data
Following registration, email addresses receive ongoing communications and product updates to help users understand the platform's offerings and functionality. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
GDPR & Regional Compliance
For EU Residents, data resides in the AWS EU (Frankfurt) Data Centre under GDPR requirements. For non-EU users, data may reside in the nearest AWS Data Centre to optimise performance.
